May The 4th Be With You!!

May The 4th Be With You! It is our 1 year anniversary and we happened to get a sold sign to put out on our land lot. I saw an idea on Pinterest a few years ago. The idea is that every year on your wedding anniversary, you take a new photo holding the one from the year before. I had this idea saved to my notes even before Zach proposed.

So here we are on this chilly, windy day and we met up with my mom on our land to take this photo. We are holding an enlarged photo from our wedding we had 1 year ago. This time next year we will hold this photo up in front of our brand new house. I can’t wait!

Next up – they will be mowing this crazy lawn behind us and putting up stakes to outline our property. Of course I will be blogging about the entire journey with you

What is the deal with Star Wars?

You’re probably wondering why the title of this post is May the 4th be with you? Fun fact about my husband and I –  we have a Star Wars theme in our life together.

Our very first date was us seeing Rogue One in the theater.  We then went on and got married on May 4th, which for those of you who are not familiar, it is dubbed as Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you). After we were married, we had a baby and his middle name is Harrison, after Harrison Ford. Just something silly that we do, but we love it!
